Sweet little Jonah

This child has been cracking us up lately! Two is such a fun age--Jonah is no exception! Jonah is really developing his sense of humor and talking so much--he has some great things to say. I thought I would share a couple of his funnier moments from today!

At dinner tonight I was doing my best to be stern as I told Jonah to finish up his quesadilla. I was giving him the "mom look" and everything. When I finished talking, Jonah looked up at me and in this really high pitched voice he said, "Mommy, I miss you VERY much!" I tried so hard to keep a straight face (and I was doing a pretty good job of it too!) until I looked across the table at Sam. He was turned completely around, looking out the window with his shoulders shaking....because he was laughing so hard.

Round 2: Jonah has this little monkey back-pack that he plays with every day while I'm showering and getting ready for the day. It goes the same every day. He puts some little trains and cars in it and then asks me to help him put it on. Then he tells me he's going to work.
It's always the same pattern. So tonight he brings me the monkey back-pack and asks me to help him put it on. I said, "Oh, are you going to work now?" Jonah says, "No, Mommy, I'm just playing." I could just picture him saying, "Duh." It was so cute I had to take a picture! :)
P.S. I just noticed that my husband has a lovely new post on his blog, Lazy by Nature. He does love to get comments, so if you have a minute and need a laugh....stop on by!

Yup, you are right, he's sweet little Jonah! It's so fun when they are little and you never quite know what their little minds are thinking. Gotta love that face :)

So cute! My little Gage is 2 also and we can barely get him to say anything! I know he has a lot to say and I am so curious what is going on in his mind sometimes that I just can't wait until he starts talking more!
Love the Jonah stories! He's a keeper!
