I'm still planning on posting about Florida, but my camera is malfunctioning and I'm waiting until I can post pictures!
I really don't have much else to write about.
I suppose I'm feeling a bit down lately. I'm not sure why, but I think partly it's lack of sleep. Also I don't fit into a lot of my pre-pregnancy pants yet, and I don't really feel like going to the gym with three kids in tow (which is about the only way I'm going to fit back into my pants!).
And maybe there's this too--sometimes it feels like I spend ALL my free time cleaning and my house never feels clean. It just gets more and more disorganized as my children get older!
But how trivial those things really are.
God has showered me with blessings. He has given me with a loving, wonderful husband. He has granted me three beautiful children who bring joy to every day. For heaven's sake, I live in a wonderful house and I can spend free time cleaning it.
I have nothing to complain about.
So here's what I'm focusing on today to improve my mood:
Psalm 118:24 "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalm 121:1-2 "I lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."
I just love the psalms.

Oh Lisa, you make me smile. Guess what, I don't fit into my pre-pregnancy pants either :) What a day of rejoicing that would be!

When I see pictures of young moms with houses filled with toys and stuff everywhere I long for those days. When I lived them I longed for a clean and neat house. I'm cleaning today and putting everything in it's place. Oh, to have life here in these walls again.

Savor the moment of raising your blessings. Your house will wait, I promise. If only I could make some of my choices over again, hmmm. Not to happen...

Love and prayers are with you my Texas friend. Far away, but never forgotten :)

Wow. Can't really add much after Ginger's wonderful comment, except that I can most definitely relate. Great Psalms, by the way.

I am so right there with you, lady! It's so true that they make bigger messes the bigger they get... too bad I must not have done the teaching on how to clean up after yourself and made it stick, yet... Emily doesn't even close her dresser drawers w/o being told! (okay, she's my phlegmatic/sanguine, she may NEVER close her drawers w/o being told!)
Hope you found something to smile about today!!

I am right with you there sister! My kids are the messiest kids I know. I will get the living room cleaned up, then head for the kitchen and 10 min. later, it doesn't even look like I did a thing. I have decided to set aside 5 mins. for each room. I set my timer and I'll clean what I can for 5 min. in each room. Then, when the timer goes off...I stop and head to the next room. That way, I visit every room in the house and I'm done in about an hour. By the end of the week, the house has been cleaner than if I went gung-ho in just one room. I don't ever get everything picked up or dusted or vaccuumed in one day, but I get to it eventually durning the week and I feel like I got something done. It's not perfect, but it works for now. Or, at least, until my little ones start picking up after themselves.

Hope you have a good weekend. Hang in there.

Savoring every moment is such good advice..hard to do at times but so good to remember and put into practice.

Okay so where in FL were you guys? I was there too and will die if we were close enough to you guys and J&K and did not hook up.
