Glorious Spring!

Isn't Spring the best time of the year? I just LOVE it! Such pretty things blooming all over the place, all the trees budding out, the grass is turning green again, the weather is getting warmer....

What's not to love? :) Well, I suppose the fire ants. Both the boys have already been into mounds of fire ants. I'm sure they'll learn to stay away from them eventually, but for now they just keep getting bitten!

This picture was taken at Henry's request, because "it's SUCH a pretty tree!" He's right, of course! :)

Just wanted to let everyone know that Bug (the dog who followed us home last week) found a new home last night. He went to live with a family that has lots of kids and loves animals. I'm not going to tell Henry, but I don't think they're going to stick with the name Bug!

"Getting warmer"? How warm does it get for you in the spring? Heck, how warm does it get for you in the summer?

The boys look like they are growing. The trees look gorgeous! Did you tell Just Mom that is gets 113 degrees in the summer? I couldn't help but put that one in this comment. Every August when we would drive to Dallas it would be 113 degrees. The TM graduation would always be a killer to us. I guess when you live there you get used to it.
I would move in a heart beat if my whole family was there. I'm tired of the snow :(

Just Mom,
You don't want to know how "warm" it gets here in the summer! Last summer was my first one living here (we moved from Montana--I know about Northern life!) and I thought I might actually melt! But the spring is so wonderful! It's been between 70 and 80 degrees for about two weeks. :) Beautiful! (Right now it's 8:30 pm and 65 degrees. I like that!)

EEK! (Referring to your potential summer temperatures.)

It gets to 99 here, sometimes 100, but that usually lasts about two weeks (watch it last the whole summer now).

Your spring (and your winter) sound AWESOME.

Oh cute picture of your boys.

I love that first photo too. It makes we wish for spring. It has been warm here, but I thought I heard it may snow a bit.

Beautiful trees!!

I have an ant story...just found ant piles (literal dirt piles) in numerous places inside my house. It really grossed me out. My husband kept reminding me of all the enormous bugs, scorpions we had when living in TX..much worse than here but I'm still a little freaked out. I know I live in Africa what did I expect? :-)

What beautiful pictures! I am glad to finally 'find' your site. I found it from Ginger's.
Thank you for your comments on my blog. What are the chances we'd both have 'razor' mishaps in the same weekend? I hope you don't mind me stopping by.
