Stormy

Do you ever wake up in the morning feeling like this???

Yesterday was one of those days for me. I think all I really needed was a good night's sleep, but sometimes that just isn't in the cards! I tried to make up for it with a nap, and I was unpleasantly surprised to find that I hadn't turned the phone off like I thought I had done. Then last night we had an AMAZING storm (bigger, of course--because this is Texas!), thunder (SO LOUD!) and lightning (so, so bright!) and then pouring rain. It was really a great storm to watch--the only problem was that it started around 1:30 am. About the time that I decided I could sleep through it, my boys came in to join in the fun! They both said they were "scared" of the storm, but really they were just wide awake and wanting to watch it from our room!
Here's hoping tonight will be a better night's sleep! :) For ALL of us!

I seriously dislike thunderstorms. I'm usually in the basement huddled in a corner after the first rumble. My hubby sleeps through them. Alex is somewhere in between re. his tolerance of them.

Hope you get good sleep tonight.

I love Sam's version too, of going in to see how the boys were doing and finding Henry in bed with Jonah telling him it was alright, that is how God talks to us. How sweet!

Hope you sleep better tonight! Those Texas storms can be somethin' fierce, can't they?

i love a big thunderstorm as long as i know that i have a safe place to retreat to. i'm sure that you are needing much rest about now, funny how two little people can put such a kabosh to that huh?

i'll pray for you tonight for peaceful, restful sleep.

First I have to say that's a great picture of Henry. Sorry that you didn't get much sleep last night I really hope that tonight is a quiet restful night for all of you. It must have been quite a storm.

We've had some storms here, too. The only one scared in our house is the cat. Today the groud is covered in snnnooowwwww :(
While you go to bed to rest I'm going to stay in bed with my head under the covers until this white stuff goes away.
