Bridget is our resident animal-lover. She adores all things fluffy, feathered and furry. (She's not such a fan of big animals up close, however, like the donkey. But that's a story for another day.)
In many ways she reminds me of the abominable snow man in the old looney tunes cartoons....
Here are a few pictures of her with our cat, George Bush. Bridget has a tendency to carry her around wherever she happens to be going. You might think, "That poor kitty." But you'd be wrong. Both of our cats love the attention they get from Bridget (and the other kids too!). And they have claws and sharp teeth, so if they truly felt threatened they would be able to get away. But they never do. :)
This first picture was taken right after Bridget drove her bike up over the top of George Bush. She hopped off, backed the bike back off of GB and then bent down to pick her up.
The kitty is just about as long as Bridget is!
I fully expected the cat to run away but as Bridget got closer to me I could hear that she was purring. Guess she likes being carried around by her front paws! :)
I love having animals. We are blessed to have quite a few around our growing farm and each one adds something very unique and fun to our lives. :)

She is precious...I wanted to tell you how much I have appreciated your joy-filled comments and well wishes!
