Welcome to Texas.....

Apparently it was time for another reminder (to myself) that I NOW LIVE IN TEXAS.

Because when I lived in Montana, I never opened up the blinds in my children's room and found MOLD GROWING ON THE WINDOW.

Yep. Mold. Lots and lots of it. In Bridget's room. Oh, and in the boy's room too. After SCRUBBING their windows clean I didn't want to take a close look at any of my other windows.

Seriously? This is gross.

We had an RSV scare with Bridget a while back, so we put a warm-mist humidifier in her room. It helped her breathing so much that we thought the boys needed one too....so off to Target I went and got one for their room. I'm hoping this is why I would have mold in the windows. And really, spring isn't that far off for us Southerners, so I shouldn't have to run them for too much longer. And then there won't be any more mold. Right? Right.

(Please don't burst my bubble by telling me this isn't the case!)

Ick, ick, ick! We sure aren't dealing with mold here....just ice! Hope the mold stays away for you!

I remember those days...it felt like walking in to a sauna every time I got the kids us...David was always needing a humidifier and I remember finding mold on the windows a time or two. I pray all is well soon and you can get the room dried out. Almost 70 today and tomorrow the same...sounds good to me!

Mold. Wow. I just have dirt that I really want to clean but have to wait until all this snow and ice melts. I can't wait for spring either.

Oh, how yucky! I'm so glad we live in a very dry climate. We very rarely have any mold problems.

I just read your previous post, about being more specific in your orders. I laughed out loud when I got to the part about them lining them all up on the table. How funny. If they were any older, you would almost think they were being smarty pants, but at this age you just have to laugh. Mom lesson learned.

Hey! Yes you did find me! Sorry its taken so long to write back!

We just moved into a different house its over 100 years old! We have been going through our own mold issues so I can understand.

Thank you for writing back to me. You have such a beautiful family! I really really love reading about your boys! You little girl seems so precious too! My husband and I read your blog together somtimes, and talk about how we want Elisha and Caleb to be as close of friends. :)

I hope that you have a blessed day! :)
